Monthly tuition is $50 for a 45 min. class, $58 for a 60 min. class, and $68 for a 90 min. class. We offer a family or multiple class discount of 10% on additional classes of an equal or lower tuition rate within the same family. We also offer a substantial discount in the form of a flat monthly tuition rate of $185 for any one student enrolled in four or more classes.
Monthly tuition payments are due the 1st of each month; payments received after the 15th of the month will incur late fees. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Credit card payments may be faxed in using this form or sign up for auto-pay. A $20 fee will be charged on all returned checks. Accounts must be current in order to receive costumes and to participate in the Spring Recital.
There is an annual, non-refundable enrollment fee of $25 per student. This fee includes an official SWDC tank or t-shirt for each student. It also helps to cover processing costs for setting up your account. Also, we do not charge for tickets to our annual spring recital and this fee contributes to that cost as well.
There are no refunds or credits for missed classes or for classes which fall on a holiday. However, if possible, we will be glad to have your child make up a class during another class with children of comparable age and skill. Since we do maintain a child-to-teacher ratio, we must insist that arrangements for makeup classes be made with the teacher before class time. Due to class sizes, we cannot guarantee that your child will be able to make up a missed class. After January, students can not make up missed classes due to class-specific choreography for the spring recital.
We ask, if at all possible, that you notify the Studio West Dance Center office at 225-1611 if your child will not be attending a scheduled class.
The program in which you are enrolling your child is an on-going program and is not a "session." If you plan to withdraw your child from the program, we ask that you notify us at least two weeks prior to the withdrawal date. Monthly tuition is not refunded so if you are planning a withdrawal mid-month, please discuss your specific situation with us directly as soon as possible.
We try to keep our costume fees as reasonable as possible. There will be a $75 costume deposit per class due in November with the balance due in March for the recital. Dancers will not receive their costumes until balances are paid in full.
SWDC generally follows the Poudre School District school calendar. Dance Program classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and run through the May recital. Classes are generally not held on school breaks/holidays, but PLEASE check the SWDC calendar for details as they are announced. Any cancellations due to weather will follow school district decisions as announced on TV, radio and www.psdschools.org .
All classes will participate in a Winter Performance and in a more formal Spring Recital in May. Other performance opportunities will be available to Ensemble/Competition teams.
