For auditions for Ensemble/Competition Teams for the
2008-09 dance year, contact Jennifer Knostman at 225-1611 by July 14 to schedule an audition before July 20, 2008. 

SWDC Ensemble groups received National bids our first year out including National Urban Jamm for our teen group and National Spotlight Dance Cup for both our teen and junior groups.  Thanks to the teams and their parents for all of their support and hard work. 

Our first competition year was a great success!  Fall of '07 we attended Urban Jamm where the teen group Poppin' received a silver award.  In the spring of '08, teen group Poppin' and the junior group Bump in the Night showcased at Monsters of Hip Hop. 

At Spotlight Dance Cup April 19th in Denver, Poppin' teen group won Diamond (1st) in their division and Emerald overall.  Bump in the Night junior group took Ruby (2nd) in their division and best costume.  Jennifer Knostman, Owner and Lead Instructor for SWDC, also took home a special studio honor. 

May 3rd in Denver at Kids Artistic Review (KAR), Poppin' teen group won top first in their division and most entertaining overall.  Bump in the Night junior group won top first in their division and 8th place overall.
