Studio West Dance Center offers summer dance programs for all levels for dancers aged 3 and up at our dance studio in Fort Collins.

All 2024 summer camps and classes will run July 8th – 12th.

Fairy Tale Ballet
Dance Friends are the best friends! Come make new friends this summer! In these special ballet lessons for young children, dancers will learn the foundations of dance in a creative, nurturing, and fun environment with Disney themes! Daily snacks & crafts included!

Werk It! Hip Hop
On your Mark! Get Set! Let’s Go! We are going to bring the heat and teach the fundamentals at this hip-hop dance camp for kids. We promise the AC will be on, and snacks are included!

Broadway Bound
Your life is a stage! If acting, singing, and dancing is your thing then this camp will not disappoint! Explore Music theater dance and drama.

Story Book Ballet
The magic of ballet awaits! Explore the foundations of ballet with additional focus on the tools of dance including terminology, musicality and performance. Snacks are included!

SUGGESTED ATTIRE FOR CAMP:
Ballet classes should wear pink tights, leotard and pink ballet shoes. Hip Hop, loose comfortable clothing, preferably long pants for floor work and tennis shoes. Music theatre dance should wear comfortable clothing that allows movement and jazz shoes or tennis shoes.

Pre-Professional Classes – $440

Intermediate & Advanced dancers ages 5 and up

Dance genres will include Ballet Masters, Jazz, Hip Hop, Music Theatre, Contemporary/Lyrical, Progressions, Improv, Tap and more!  Be challenged, learn something new, keep your skills up and have fun this summer with our guest artists, beloved SWDC Faculty, and Alumni.

 

Ages 5-8

  • 12pm-1:30pm – Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary combo/rotation
  • 1:30pm-3pm – Hip Hop and Tap rotation
  • 3pm-4pm – Ballet

 

Ages 9-12

  • 4-5pm – Ballet
  • 5-6pm – Guest
  • 6-7pm – Guest
  • 7-8pm – Guest

(Guest Artist classes will consist of contemporary, jazz, music theatre, hip hop, tap etc.)

 

Ages 13+

  • 4-5pm – Guest
  • 5-6pm – Ballet
  • 6-7pm – Guest
  • 7-8pm – Guest
