In the 2008-09 dance year, our second year of competition, SWDC's Ensemble teams had nine entries at International Dance Challenge, Jump, and Spotlight Dance Cup as well as a Showcase at Monsters of Hip Hop.

International Dance Challenge

• Lights, Camera, Action – Junior Hip Hop Group. Scored Gold and Best Costume. This routine was invited back for a challenge in the most entertaining category and took runner up.

• Footprints – Junior Lyrical Group.  Scored Gold.

• Selfish – Teen Hip Hop Group. Scored Sterling Silver.

• Breathe Me – Teen Lyrical Group. Scored Gold and Reaching for the Stars Award.

• Satisfaction – Teen Duo.  Scored Sterling Silver.

• Sun Showers – Teen Duo.

• Dracula’s Wedding – Junior Solo Tap age 8. Scored Sterling Silver.

• Shy – Teen Solo Music Theatre age 12. Scored Gold and received an invitation to Nationals.

• Daybreak – Teen Solo Jazz age 13. Scored Silver.
